The CR Series Roller Conveyor is a modular conveying system designed for the finished packaging section of tobacco threshing and redrying lines. It integrates chain-driven roller conveyance, photoelectric detection, and PLC-based automatic control to ensure stable, orderly, and efficient transfer of packed tobacco productsThe CR Series Roller Conveyor operates as an integral part of the tobacco packaging line, with all conveying actions coordinated by the line PLC through photoelectric detection. Upon receiving a carton transfer signal, the conveyor drives the rollers to transport cartons to designated positions, where photoelectric sensors confirm carton arrival and trigger subsequent actions. Depending on the functional role of each conveyor—such as transfer, buffering, check weighing, strapping, or lane transfer—the system automatically controls carton accumulation, release, temporary positioning, or inter-lane movement. Cartons are transferred smoothly between adjacent stations based on real-time status signals, ensuring orderly flow without congestion. For operations requiring dwell time, such as weighing or strapping, cartons are held in position for a PLC-defined duration before being released downstream. Mobile conveyors further enable dynamic transfer between parallel conveying lanes. The entire process can be operated in fully automatic mode or manually when required, ensuring stable, flexible, and coordinated carton handling throughout the packaging process.
