Slurry Process Equipment for Recon Tobacco

Multi-function Production Line Offers high flexibility, allowing rapid switching between traditional/HNB production through changing material inputs and process parameters. The system can be tailored to produce traditional recon tobacco sheets, or HNB sheets, or configured for dual-use operation. This design maximizes equipment utilization and ROI (Return on Investment), enabling clients to swiftly adapt to market shifts and capture emerging opportunities.

Roller Pressed(Extrusion) Recon - For HNB and traditional cigarettes

Upgraded Material Pretreatment: Clumping-free powder and consistent feeding. Mixed and Continuous Drying: Replaces original separate drying model to reduce waste. Precise Dosing System: With separate storage and dosing deviation <1%. Multi-Purification: Improves workshop environment and ensures purity. Smart Silos: Simultaneous cooperation of two silos. (one mixes while the other discharges) Dry Fiber Addition: Increases sheet strength by 100-200% with over 95% utilization. Advanced Mixing & Rolling: Achieves moisture deviation <1% and adopts kneading-like rolling . Dual Servo Drives Rolling: 4-6 rolling passes, making sheets thickness more uniform. Tailored Drying: IR & steam drying for traditional sheets; double-layer low temperature drying for HNB sheets.

Paper Making Recon - For traditional cigarettes

A more traditional and large scale approach would be paper making method. Such recon production method usually starts at capacity of 2000kg/hr, making it the largest in scale. However, with over 98% of water content in its slurrys, this method is very energy consuming

Stem Expansion Equipment

Improved Physical Properties: Microwave radiation rapidly expands stem fibers, forming a porous structure, which significantly increases its filling capacity and absorbency in stem-based products. Superior Sensory Quality: The rapid heating induces the Maillard reaction which lowers woody smell and releases distinct aromatic compounds, better meeting cigarette sensory quality requirements. Cut Expanded Stems: Expanded stems are cut into shreds, which are similar with cut tobacco lamina, ideal for regular, medium and slim cigarettes production.

Capsule Hardness and Diameter Detector

As a new type equipment for testing capsule quality, HK300 Hardness and Diameter Detector is capable of performing fully automated measurements of key indicators such as capsule crushing strength, deformation, initial diameter, and elasticity index. Without requiring manual intervention, it directly outputs precise results, avoiding human measuring errors and providing accurate support for capsule production adjustments. Through its high-precision detection, it strictly controls capsule quality, preventing defective products from subsequent stages.

Hydraulic Rod Maker

The equipment comprises a hopper, spiral feeder, dust-suppression hydraulic cylinder, constant power variable displacement pump, hydraulic power unit, water-cooling system, oil-cooling system, and electrical control cabinet. Operating Principle: A constant power variable displacement pump drives the dust-suppression hydraulic cylinder to achieve a reciprocating hammering motion. Key Advantages: Utilizing hydraulic transmission, this system boasts minimal wear, low noise, reduced vibration, high reliability, and extended service duration, making it ideal for continuous long-term operation.

Cigarette Storing and Transferring Equipment

With a buffer capacity of 160,000 sticks (standard cigarette, Φ8mm) or 320,000 sticks (slim cigarette, Φ5.4mm). Implements a FIFO (First-In-First-Out) storing way, enabling better quality tracking and tracing in box and packaging production It provides buffer storage for at least 10 minutes production output on a rate of 16,000 sticks/minute. This system is also applicable for filter rod buffering and conveying.

Threshing and Redrying Production Line

The Tobacco Threshing and Redrying Process separates lamina from stems through threshing, followed by redrying that reduces lamina moisture to 11%–13%, thereby supplying high-quality raw materials for subsequent production stages. The production line consists of the following components: Preprocessing: Vacuum conditioning, bundle opening, tip cutting, conditioning, and impurity removal. Separation: Tobacco leaves are divided into lamina, scraps, and stems. Redrying: Lamina, scraps, and stems undergo redrying treatment. Baler: Lamina is compressed into standardized boxes with specified dimensions and density. Auxiliary Equipment: Includes dedicated dust removal and electronic control systems.

Visual Capsule Inspector

Ultra-High-Speed Inspection: Handles 1,000,000 capsules per hour, perfect for large scale production lines. Deep Learning-Powered: Learns to spot defects automatically and gets smarter for continuously improving accuracy. Full-stack independent R&D: Full control from algorithms to rejection mechanisms, guaranteeing customization and technology ownership. High-Stability Design: Patented dual-ring independent drive plus industrial color cameras with fixed-focus optics—built to withstand demanding tobacco production environments.

Primary Processing Production Line

Serving as an essential part of cigarette production, tobacco primary production line of Solbourg utilizes automated processes to transform tobacco lamina and stems into qualified shreds with a capacity of 4000kg/h
