Roller Pressed(Extrusion) Recon - For HNB and traditional cigarettes
Compared with Slurry Process and Paper-making Process, Extrusion and Rolling Method features lower equipment investment and production costs. Solbourg offers three choices: Standard Version for Tradition, High-performance Version for Tradition, and Specified Version for HNB. Standard Version for Tradition: Larger diameter of rollers than that of LB14 to make the rolled sheets more homogeneous; equipped with two moisture meters to ensure stable quality of sheets while no moisture meter is included in LB14. High-Performance Version for Tradition: Adopts Four-Roller & Three-Compression design. In the last compression stage, each roller is equipped with an independent servo drive and an automatic adjustment system for controlling roller gap. Utilizes negative pressure conveying for powder materials with smart high-precision gas-solid separation and loss-in-weight doing technology. These upgrades contribute to more homogeneous sheets and more automated production. Specified Version for HNB: adopts multiple advanced technologies based on the high performance one, including wet grinding with wet fiber addition, dry grinding with dry fiber addition, multi-layered low-temperature drying, grammage/moisture/temperature scanning, automatic edge trimming, automatic winding, and sheet roll slitting, etc.
Paper Making Recon - For traditional cigarettes
A more traditional and large scale approach would be paper making method. Such recon production method usually starts at capacity of 2000kg/hr, making it the largest in scale. However, with over 98% of water content in its slurrys, this method is very energy consuming
Stem Expansion Equipment
Improved Physical Properties: Microwave radiation rapidly expands stem fibers, forming a porous structure, which significantly increases its filling capacity and absorbency in stem-based products. Superior Sensory Quality: The rapid heating induces the Maillard reaction which lowers woody smell and releases distinct aromatic compounds, better meeting cigarette sensory quality requirements. Cut Expanded Stems: Expanded stems are cut into shreds, which are similar with cut tobacco lamina, ideal for regular, medium and slim cigarettes production.
AI Tobacco Photoelectric Sorter
The AI Tobacco Photoelectric Sorter is an integrated tobacco impurity removal system. It employs a conveying mechanism combining high-speed belt conveyance with air pressure support, utilizing spectral imaging and AI-powered deep learning for impurity identification. This system effectively removes non-tobacco foreign materials, ultimately supplying clean and high-quality tobacco lamina for subsequent processing stages. Black Background Imaging Technology: Combined with focused lighting and AI algorithms to counteract light source attenuation, ensuring excellent long-term equipment stability. Parameters require maintenance only every 3–6 months. Advanced AI Image Recognition Technology: Utilizes parallel processing of AI algorithms and color sorting algorithms, significantly improving the detection rate for foreign matter with colors similar to tobacco, leading to a substantial increase in the amount of foreign matter removed. Powerful AI Computing Capability: Each image processing unit is equipped with an FPGA and a GPU, with GPU computing power reaching up to 200 TOPS, providing robust hardware support for AI model operations. Warning Function for Specific NTRMs (non-tobacco rejected matters): The system classifies and statistics the images of NTRMs, providing operators with early warnings for these specific types.
Capsule Hardness and Diameter Detector
As a new type equipment for testing capsule quality, HK300 Hardness and Diameter Detector is capable of performing fully automated measurements of key indicators such as capsule crushing strength, deformation, initial diameter, and elasticity index. Without requiring manual intervention, it directly outputs precise results, avoiding human measuring errors and providing accurate support for capsule production adjustments. Through its high-precision detection, it strictly controls capsule quality, preventing defective products from subsequent stages.

Hydraulic Rod Maker
Serving as a dust control system, the PHD1180 Hydraulic Rod Maker is designed for dust control in tobacco enterprises. It compacts loose tobacco dust into high-density, regularly shaped cylindrical rods, effectively addressing secondary dust pollution, improving the working environment and reducing costs for transportation and disposal. The equipment comprises a hopper, spiral feeder, dust-suppression hydraulic cylinder, constant power variable displacement pump, hydraulic power unit, water-cooling system, oil-cooling system, and electrical control cabinet. Operating Principle: A constant power variable displacement pump drives the dust-suppression hydraulic cylinder to achieve a reciprocating hammering motion. Key Advantages: Utilizing hydraulic transmission, this system boasts minimal wear, low noise, reduced vibration, high reliability, and extended service duration, making it ideal for continuous long-term operation.
FIFO Cigarette Storing and Transferring Equipment
With a buffer capacity of 160,000 sticks (standard cigarette, Φ8mm) or 320,000 sticks (slim cigarette, Φ5.4mm). Implements a FIFO (First-In-First-Out) storing way, enabling better quality tracking and tracing in box and packaging production It provides buffer storage for at least 10 minutes production output on a rate of 16,000 sticks/minute. This system is also applicable for filter rod buffering and conveying.
Threshing and Redrying Production Line
The Tobacco Threshing and Redrying Process separates lamina from stems through threshing, followed by redrying that reduces lamina moisture to 11%–13%, thereby supplying high-quality raw materials for subsequent production stages. The production line consists of the following components: Preprocessing: Vacuum conditioning, bundle opening, tip cutting, conditioning, and impurity removal. Separation: Tobacco leaves are divided into lamina, scraps, and stems. Redrying: Lamina, scraps, and stems undergo redrying treatment. Baler: Lamina is compressed into standardized boxes with specified dimensions and density. Auxiliary Equipment: Includes dedicated dust removal and electronic control systems.
Visual Capsule Inspector
Ultra-High-Speed Inspection: Handles 1,000,000 capsules per hour, perfect for large scale production lines.
